Why your wedding pictures are so important…
When the flowers have wilted, the champagne has been drunk and the cake has been enjoyed, you will only have the images to look back on. I always ensure that you will receive lots of natural coverage of you and your guests throughout your special day.
With this in mind, there are two things that are really important to me as a wedding photographer, capturing great story telling photographs, and creating stunning bride and groom portraits.
I guess you’ve probably read the same cliche statements over and over again by now (unobtrusive, working in the shadows, fly on the wall, etc etc …) Well that just isn’t me!
Great photographs are the ones that are created from within the story, not from the outside looking in. And this is the approach I adopt at every wedding. I shoot your story from close quarters – you’ll know I’m there, I won’t be hiding in the shadows.
I promise not to make you say cheese, not to boss you around or in fact direct you in any way. The style of wedding photography I shoot could be described as documentary or reportage wedding photography.
I love creating unique bride and groom portraits, if you’re worried about posing, don’t be … I keep it simple, I just want you to have fun!
Your wedding is probably the most important day of your life. You invest a lot of time and money into this day, and you have been planning for months or perhaps even years. I believe that your wedding portraits should not only be done quickly so that you can get back to your family, friends and your party, but the process should be enjoyable, cool, funky and fun.
Your wedding photographs are going to be your only visual memory from your wedding day. My wish is to capture the story and beauty of your special day. The resulting images, when viewed by you, will give you a real sense of being there again. At the end of the day this is what wedding photography is all about.
Pricing for wedding photography may appear to be one of life’s little mysteries, every photographer does it differently. For that reason I have kept my professional fee as simple as possible.
Full Day package from bridal prep to well into the evenings celebrations : £695
Small / half a day wedding upto 6 hours £450.00
A £150.00 deposit is required to secure the date
